Accomplishments and Honors:
Perhaps some of the accomplishments I treasure most include the regional titles I hold for Academic Decathlon and my acceptance into the LEDA Scholars program. The latter, whose acronym stands for Leadership Enterprise for a Diverse America, works tirelessly to improve college access to high achieving public high school students of low socioeconomic backgrounds. Through that program’s Aspects of Leadership Summer Institute, I was able to study pressing social issues, factors that influence college admittance and success, college level writing, and standardized testing while living at Princeton University for seven weeks. Moreover, LEDA’s support follows me through the rest of my secondary education and professional life.
