Services Provided to Students, Families and Schools


  • Conducting bio-psychosocial assessments and social histories

  • Providing crisis management services, including assessing for safety 

  • Advocating for student services and students' best interests

  • Developing intervention strategies to increase academic success

  • Help student develop appropriate social interaction skills

  • Conducting home visits

  • Case management services including, but not limited to, referrals to community resources, collaboration with other professionals

  • Identifying and resolving ethical issues 

  • Providing training and workshops to teachers, school staff and parents 

  • Contributing to a multidisciplinary team

  • Managing and supervising social work interns
