Purpose: To create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in all Alice High School students.

How is membership determined: Membership in this chapter is based on scholarship, community service, leadership, character, and attendance. To become members, students must have a 4.0 GPA, be enrolled in two pre-AP or AP classes each semester, and be involved in two or more unrelated extra-curricular activities. During the spring semester of a student's sophomore, junior, or senior year, the candidate's teachers will evaluate the student on service, leadership, character, and attendance. The evaluation along with the other requirements will determine if he or she will be inducted during the April or May lnduction Ceremony.
